The Polyflor flooring used on this project was specified by main contractor H Bell & Sons Ltd and installed by local flooring contractor Winton Flooring.
Expona Commercial PUR luxury vinyl tiles in the Brown Heritage Cherry design were installed in the restaurant’s dining and bar areas, in keeping with the traditional interior design scheme and exposed brickwork.
Polysafe Apex safety flooring in the Biotite design was selected to provide sustainable wet slip resistance for the kitchen area. This range is designed to provide underfoot protection in busy kitchen environments where there are regular spillages of more viscous oil and grease contaminants.
The Bird at Birtle project won a 2016 North West LABC Building Excellence Award in the “Best Commercial Project” category and was a finalist in the “Best Change Of Use” category.
We have added a variety of brand new designs to our Expona Commercial collection. The Brown Heritage Cherry design shown here is no longer in the current range. To achieve a similar look, try the Roasted Oak design.
