Quality Pods specialise in the construction of high end finished pods that can be used for glamping as well as extending accommodation or creating additional activity space. The sleek exterior has been extremely well considered. The curved structure ensures the pods perfectly complement the contours of the rural landscapes they have been designed to sit amongst and contribute to the calmness that retreating to these sites should bring. The pod exteriors are finished using organic materials like oak cladding and moss feature walls giving them an aesthetic which is harmonious with their surroundings.
The large, unique circular glazed window and french doors provide an abundance of light and great views of the surroundings. The beautiful interior is deceivingly spacious due to its innovative and compact design. With a full set of facilities including a living space, kitchen space, sleeping area and wet room the pods offer a full living environment perfect for short getaways. The living spaces required a high-quality flooring solution that would create a warm and inviting aesthetic with exceptional durability and simple installation.
Polyflor Expona EnCore Rigid Loc LVT in Parisian Limed Oak was installed across the main space. EnCore Rigid Loc LVT offers all the beauty of real wood with the resilience of vinyl. The rigid core means it can be easily installed over most subfloors, saving time on subfloor preparation. Planks are quick and easy to loose lay using an innovative 5G-I locking mechanism, perfect for projects like these where quick installation is needed.
Expona EnCore Rigid Loc offers beautiful designs, realistic surface textures and subtle embossing. Featuring an extremely dense wear layer as well as a polyurethane reinforcement (PUR) surface treatment, planks are scratch and stain resistant and support easy cleaning- perfect for well used spaces with people regularly coming and going. Expona EnCore Rigid Loc is 100% waterproof, and therefore can easily resist any accidental spillages across the space. It also has a built-in acoustic backing which helps reduce impact sound and make the floor softer and warmer underfoot, both properties that can have significant advantage in a small space of this kind.
Polysafe Quattro in Granite Sky was chosen for the wet room. They required a flooring solution that was going to be hard wearing and slip resistant. Designed for wet rooms, Polysafe Quattro is easy to maintain, and achieves a sustainable slip resistance of 50+ whether barefoot or shod. It is also available in a variety of subtle shades, meaning quality pods could offer their customers the option to choose their own shade.
The pods give people the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors without having to give up their home comforts.
